Volunteering
There are many different roles and positions available to volunteers in the SASES. There are:
- Operational roles for hands on volunteering
- Non-Operational roles which support operational activities
- Marine roles for people with nautical skills
We also provide cadet training for young adults between age 13 to 18

For spontaneous volunteering (volunteers who are motivated by a sudden desire to help others in a specific incident, but have no formal training in emergency responses and no desire to volunteer in an ongoing basis), please contact Volunteering SA or Go Volunteer.
